Professional: Background and Experience
I received my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology – Alliant International University, San Diego, CA in 2004 and completed my Bachelors degree, majoring in French and Psychology in 1999 at Bates College, Maine.
My emphasis area during my doctorate program has been on Integrative Psychology.
I was certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology as a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology in 2007.
Between the summer of 2004 and fall of 2008 I lived and worked in Istanbul, Turkey where I had a private practice, taught at Bosphorous and Dogus Universities, and under Helsinki Citizen’s Assembly’s Refugee Legal Assistance Program, founded and directed a mental health services program for asylum seekers and refugees living in Istanbul, Turkey.
I currently have a private practice in the North Vancouver, B.C. I have been serving as an Adjunct Faculty at Adler School of Professional Psychology since January 2010 and have been serving in the Research Ethics Board of Adler School of Professional Psychology since September 2010.
